I am an Indonesian mother. I went here when my 3rd child had a problem of breastfeeding on his first month. My baby didn’t suck strongly, thus I needed to feed him using a bottle. Wagatsuma-san did the breast massage that was very relaxing. She also assisted me to use oketani nipple bottle whenever I feed my baby. The nipple has similar sucking method with natural breastfeeding. Thus, it strengthen my baby’s sucking ability. She taught me many lessons of breastfeeding and motivated me that I could breastfeed my 3rd child as well as my 1st & 2nd child. Around 2-3 weeks after using the Oketani nipple, my baby could suck strongly. It was earlier than our prediction (1-2 months afterward). I also improved my breastfeeding management including breastmilk provision issues. I gained strong confidence so that I could breastfeed my 3rd child well, something that influences the breastfeeding successfulness. I learnt to be very patient and understand the baby’s feeling, not only the mother’s feeling.
