金剛沢国有林の北東側頂上付近にある広場です。と言っても、小さい東屋があるだけで、広場というより休憩所といった感じ。 八木山南団地の方から登っても、20分程度で行けますが、舗装された道が切れてからの後半は、そこそこ急な坂道になります。また、いくつか脇道があり、そちらは狭く、アップダウンも強めです。
