I was able to reserve an appointment within the month and price is affordable! Ichi and Laura were very kind and walked me through the entire process from finishing touches to aftercare. The quality is absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to foreigners and locals alike! I will come back for my next tattoo before I leave Japan! :)

My husband and I came here in 2018 and Ichi did a maneki neko on the inside of my arm. He’s amazing. English is great and very communicative before the services. I couldn’t recommend him more!
I've experienced many tattooists and many studios in my 14 years of getting tattoos, I've probably had close to 100 hours of work done over those years so I'm not new to this. With all that said, ICHI TATTOO TOKYO is by far one of the best studios I've ever been to. Much different to the open plan studios I'm used to in the UK, ICHI is a studio in an apartment in a quiet part of Tokyo. Tattoos are done in private rooms, with curtains closing off any visibility. It's got a nice, quiet and calm atmosphere so anyone going for their first tattoo should immediately feel at ease, especially with how warm, friendly and welcoming everyone in the studio is. Spotlessly clean, very professional and with multiple highly talented guest artists, ICHI is 100% worth your time. I will certainly return for more work in the future, thank you so much for the amazing work.
I’ve made several tattoos but there’s no artist like Ichi San, he has the lightest hand and the best equipment. His freehand drawings are awesome! Highly recommended in Japan. His assistant Vanessa helps the foreigners a lot but Ichi San speaks good english as well. I love the tattoo I have from Ichi Tattoo !
Very nice and professional staff members; Very cute spot as well. But I was not the most satisfied with my tattoo and the artist didn't seem too keen on making the changes claiming it was '' Just lines '' They don't offer to show you how they designed your tattoo before you physically show up to get it... Which can be a little risky (especially after having already paid more than half of the price as the deposit). I understand that each artist's style is different ... but I just wish I could have had an idea of what it looked like before actually going there and could have avoided having to express my slight dissatisfaction with the design on the spot. The artist also didn't let me look at it after it was done. He just wrapped it up right away and nicely asked me to leave. I definitely would have changed spots or asked for more changes had I had the chance to see it before hand. The artist made me feel a little uncomfortable to ask for more changes... So I went with it. It's not BAD, it's just not satisfactory. I AM paying for the services and no one wants something they aren't satisfied with tattooed on their body...
