Lovely neighborhood restaurant serving home-cooked, delicious Japanese meals! There’s almost always a bit of a wait around lunchtime, but it moves fairly quickly. The lunch special for 2100 is a large amount of food (tempura, sashimi, small dishes, and dessert), all of it wonderful. There’s a true zen-like experience inside and outside— from the pebbled rock garden with bamboo inside the entrance, to the quiet, floral alcove outside.

Popular local traditional Japanese home styled cuisine. There were customers waiting in line before it opened. Came here for lunch and ordered two lunch set, plus some marinated vegetables. The best actually was the marinated vegetables., refreshingly tasty. The sashimi was quite good also. The tempura and cooked fishes were good, but not as impressive. Prices were reasonable, okay CP!
Both the service and the tastes is more than average level. I do not know, the staff could use English or not, it would be delivered beyond languages.
Love this place. Went for lunch recently five years after going for the first time and it was still delicious. I ordered a pork lunch set and everything was beautifully cooked. Staff was friendly and great relaxing atmosphere.
The food was amazing, you get to experienc an authentic Japanese meal. Service was excellent as well, the restaurant staff was polite and courteous. They understand basic English so that helps as well.
