Following Goro san again to this small restaurant where all customers were seated in a U-shaped counter and the lady boss serves everyone in a round-robin fashion. Don't expect the service level of Asakusa Imahan but you won't be disappointed. BTW, sukiyaki is great.

If you are in the area, definitely worth a visit. It's a small hole-in-the-wall Mom & Pop 10 seater sukiyaki/ shabu shabu joint. Ambience is not fine dining but the quality of the food and the price make up for it. Only down side is the size which may makes large groups an issue and they close once they've sold out in the evenings which can be quite early. Its size and location in the suburbs means it is mainly local clientele no english menu but its quite manageable given the small menu.
Great mood in Japan. You can’t but order a glass of beer to enjoy the full favor.

A small shabu shabu/sukiyaki restaurant located in suburban of Ikebukuro. It provides wakyu (Japanese beef) and Japanese pork on the menu with a very good price.
