Each diner has to order their own dish. Sharing isn’t allowed. Husband and I wanted to share a plate because we just had dinner but ended up ordering 2 curry plates. It tastes the same as in Singapore though. I was expecting much more.

Two steps out the door, I’m already thinking about my next visit to a CoCo Ichibanya! The selection of curries and ingredients create almost limitless combinations. Everything I’ve tried is delicious, from eggs to chicken to pork cutlet, and the portions are *enormous*! For that reason, the option to size down in rice quantity is one of my favorite aspects of the menu. Posted pics of my fave combo, fried chicken with beef curry, potatoes, and assorted veg.

Having traveled to Japan for the 3rd time I’m sad to say I’ve put off going to this chain for my 3rd visit. I wish I had gone sooner. The food here is fantastic and the spice levels are up to par with the spice anywhere else (usually it’s hard to find spicy Japanese food) I ended up eating half orders here in the morning due to it being one of the only places open earlier than 10 am. Get the slightly more expensive cutlets. They are amazing. Also I am.someone who loves very spicy. 5 or 6 is max for me in spice level. Loved this place. Not the cleanest. But clean enough to enjoy a meal.
