Quite seriously this is one of the very best food tours we have ever taken. We did the private fish markets tour with Meg and it was outstanding. Great food, so much knowledge shared, Meg made sure that the tour was so enjoyable and informative. If you love food, you must take a tour with Oishii!

We did this food tour on our first time in Kyoto. Our guide Akiko was a wonderful and patient guide who answered all our questions. Her passion for food was infectious. This was the best tour to introduce us to Kyoto food and culture, even better being lead by such a knowledgeable local. We tried so many foods that we would have missed had we not gone on the food tour. Definitely recommend this for anyone! 10/10 would do this again!
My wife and I had the best time on this tour. Megumi was so knowledgeable and accommodating. A total pro. We've been telling everyone about it since we got back and have recommended it to all our friends going to Japan.
Fantastic tour. We're from Portland, OR and one thing that state does really well is craft beers. It was great to be shown around and see how Kyoto is on par with Portland brewing. Loved every minute of the tour. Especially the beers and bacon at Kyoto Beer Lab!
My experience with Oishii was fantastic! As a non-Japanese speaker, I had the opportunity to visit and enjoy several restaurants I never would have been able to navigate otherwise. Some of the best eats I had while traveling in Japan. Great time and great company. Thanks, Oishii!
