Whole-in-the-wall curry place. Delicious curry place. Everything is okay. Downside is that smoking is allowed inside this very small curry place

Lovely cosy curry place! Loved the setting. The old lady was so hospitable and her food touched our hearts on a rainy day.
Great place to eat curry rice. The pork cutlet curry is the best in terms of portion and worth. Lunch menu was cheap all below 1000yen. Might want to skip the mixed options for curry rice such as chicken and croquet cause portion for price abit small as what my friend ordered. It's better to get just one type of curry rice then add side toppings such as chicken etc. The only thing that kind of ruined the overall experience was that some customers started smoking in the small restaurant space. Although we know it's part of the culture here so it's not something unique to this place but do take note if you're traveling with friends and family who don't like smoke.
To find a place like this in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo is an absolute treat. It feels like entering a Japanese home out in the countryside, sitting down in the living room to have a nice warm, home cooked meal served up by your own grandparents. The ladies who run this spot are super nice and make a really, really good curry.
Delightful curry place run by two ladies who have wonderful synergy. Cozy indoors. Low dim lighting. Smoking inside okay. Lunch sets available. Served with rice and salad. There's another lunch set served with miso soup. Beer and draft beer available for 600 Lunch plates range from 700-800 Very reasonable prices. Air conditioned inside. The lady who takes your order is very sweet. Reminds me of a Japanese grandma. The decor inside makes me feel like I am in someone's home. There's a big piano with a small TV on top and the walls are decorated with old wine bottles and cups Matt got the chicken katsu curry and I got the grilled chicken curry. SO good and comforting. It's got the right amount of spice. Carrots and onion are mixed in with the curry. You can order a small bowl of curry if you just want a little bit. They also serve a type of noodle where you dip the noodles into sauce. It's not soba but it's very similar. We got full for 1600
