In-store shopping
Specialty arts store that definitely has more options in terms of paints/brushes than your standard Tokyo Hands. Although, the copic collection is roughly the same, so maybe just go for Tokyo Hands instead where you can get a discount. I found the organization of the floors and stuff a bit confusing, and not much of anything is translated into English. It’s really tight inside the shop and a bit cluttered. Also, they don’t have a great selection of sketchbooks for watercolor (but plenty for just drawing).

This is an interesting store. It feels like a small or family run business. They do everything from pencils to framing, oil painting to pastel, watercolor to acrylic, the whole thing, sketch to frame. Tokyo Hands are more for hobbyists. Uematsu are a step up and provide supplies for professionals. You are paying a little more for better results which last longer. In addition to having a generous range of materials, the owner develops his own materials. Also on the ground floor are special Japanese color resources, which I’ve never seen before. It’s a real place of adventure! The staff don’t speak English much, so use your google translate on camera function and prepare the vocabulary you need. That said, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you can speak Japanese or have a friend translate, they know about most things.
Very nice team. A bit overpriced.
Small shop but packed with a wide assortment of professional art supplies. Staff are experts and knowledgeable about the goods. Unfortunately it's easy to miss the narrow storefront.
I got some Moku Hanga tools and liquide aquarelle colors. And they have more or less every pigment you can dream of.
