We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights here in November 2019. Shima Tamura is an absolute gem. It's a fairly big quirky hotel that has been built over a long period of time. I think the oldest part is from the 1600s. The service was anything we could ask for, both in the reception and during meals. The food was amazing, and they did a great job accommodating our no meat diet. They have a nice selection of both indoor and outdoor baths. I especially enjoyed the view from the bath to the river and waterfall. It is definitely worth the detour to get here!

先日、木涌館に宿泊しました！ 二人で止まるには広くてきれいでした。 ずっと暖房が効いてて、お風呂後は少し暑かった！ 夕食は個室で食べました。 人がよく、とても親切かつ丁寧でした。 朝食の源泉粥が美味しくておかわりしちゃった！ 温泉好きで全部入ったけど、こだまと岩根の源泉蒸し風呂がおすすめ！
源泉風呂付きの部屋に、泊まりました。気持ち良かったので、長湯してしまいました。部屋や廊下は、温泉の熱を利用した暖房がついているようで、寒さを感じませんでした。接客も料理も、大変満足しました。特に、お粥は程好い塩加減で美味しく頂きました。
２回目の利用です。 食事はとてもレベルが高く満足。 夜、朝 コロナ対策でも細かく対策され安心して滞在できた。 ここがよいのは食事と風呂。 多くの風呂があり中でも露天風呂はとてもよい。 川の音を聞きながら風呂に入るのはやすらぎを感じる。
