Yurikamome line. One of attractions of Tokyo. The trains of the line have no driver. It’s automatically run. You can see many attractive spots through the window of this train. The beautiful Rainbow Bridge, the replica of the Statue of Liberty, Daiba city, Tokyo bay are some of them.

Shimbashi is one of the populated areas in Tokyo. Many 8 train lines are crossing through Shimbashi station. Crowded at peak hours. On the May 15, 2019 - Had very bad experience at Shimbashi station as entire train network in Tokyo got stuck. I was trapped in the trains and then after the Shimbashi station for nearly one and half hours. The railway authorities failed to manage the passenger traffic on that day. Train were over crowded and the passengers could not get down from the incoming trains as the platforms too were crowded. None could set foot on the railway platforms on that day. Finally authorities had to open the exit gates with taking tickets to manage the inbound traffic.

Very busy. Connects JR lines with Tokyo automatic train bound for Toyoshu. One of the best way to go Odaiba. There are several lines like Asakusa line, Gunza line, keihin-tohoku line, Tokaido line, Ueno-Tokyo line, Yamanote line, Yokosuka line and Yurikamome line.

Shimbashi Station is one of the most-used stations in the Tokyo Center. Almost all lines pass through here. If you get lost, re-orient yourself by going back to Shimbashi. The JR lines pass through here. The underground Tokyo Metro with itd mazelike paths hold a lot of wonderfuk shopping and food spots. Within less than a kilometer radius from the station, you can actually waste a whole day visiting all the different restos, bistros, cafes, izakaya places, and the like. Right beside the station is a building with one of my most favorite beer craft place, iBrew. Ginza is also a few meters away so if you love shopping (albeit expensive shops), Shimbashi is your train station. Recently, Yurikamome has updated its station and now features a lighter more airier space. The stained glass windows are worth noticing as you climbed down the platform. Starbucks and Famima can be found within the Yurikamome station.
