I was in Kyoto for a week-long conference. After reading the positive reviews, I dropped in to this shop one day to see if I could get the battery of my iPhone 6s changed. It had been running down constantly and making me crazy! The shop is really small (two people can just about stand there, and there is a partition behind which the repair work is done). It's right at the entrance of Shinkyogoku, one of the covered market streets, down a few steps. The owner was helpful and asked me to leave the phone and come back in 40 minutes. When I came back it was done, it cost me just around 5400 Yen and has saved me buying a new phone. It's awesome that I now have battery life until late in the night! Many thanks for a perfect job.

Got an iphoneSE screen replaced 24/sept/19. Yuki had good English, had the screen in stock, and completed the repair initially within a couple of hours for 6200 Yen. Unfortunately, minutes after leaving the shop, the replacement screen completely stopped working (even worse than before). When I returned, he said my phone had been missing a piece when I brought it in (a protective panel). I asked why he didn't tell me that - instead of charging me and letting me leave with a faulty phone, but he had no answer. At my insistence, he took another look and, to his credit, eventually fixed it (with a piece for a slightly older iPhone version). I was very lucky (the screen failed immediately, not much later when I would've had a hard time finding the shop again without google maps and I was carrying a portable battery pack to demonstrate it was the screen, not the charge) In the end it was good value but the stress of having to return, argue my case, and worry about my phone's reliability for the rest of my trip in unfamiliar city streets wasn't worth it. The apple store down the street quoted me 10,000 Yen which might've been a safer bet.
