The trip to Ainoshima takes 17 minutes. The one way fare is 460 for adults and 230 for children. The tickets are purchased from a vending machine. The community bus stop is just next to the building. While we were at the waiting room, we saw a cat sitting on one of the plastic chairs. He was too aloof to be a customer relations officer of the ferry company. Maybe he was a security guard or a passenger waiting to take the boat back to Ainoshima.
