Amazing food and friendly staff. I think this is among the best (cannot say authentic or not) indian restaurant in Tokyo. They can arrange for vegans. Staff is friendly with a special mention to the shop manager.

A good Indian restaurant in Shinjuku area, Taste of the food is good and fully boiled foods are provided, Indian people can prefer this hotel
Very good curry and naan, but I can't give it the really high 4 because the price was a bit on the high side. Definitely a Solid 4 stars. Staff was mostly Japanese, but he said the cook was Indian.
Too much crowdy yet can't blame it because of it's location near Shinjuku station. Anyway food was not much off the charts as per the expectation. I'll say it's bit of overrated.
Very near to shinjuku station. Service was fast and staff courteous. Food is not very great but quite okay. Had a basic dinner set - the Bombay two curry set. You can choose any 2 curries from all the curries available. I would say that it is "better than average" food and you can go here anyday if craving for Indian food.
Great curry, reasonably priced for dinner, friendly and courteous staff. Loved the meal!
Delicious authentic Indian curry at a good price. Seems to be popular with locals, and it's understandable why!
Bombay - the land of mouth watering street food and people who can find happiness over a game of cards in a claustrophobic crowded suburban train on their way to work that is by no means any less than an adventure of its own. You name your restaurant Bombay and images of local delicacies come to mind. Unfortunately this namesake does not work with this hole in a wall restaurant in shinjuku. Not a single dish from Bombay is on its menu. The food is completely North Indian that unfortunately seems to be the self proclaimed representation of the culinary diversity that is india. They say never judge a book by its cover. But you flip the pages of the menu and it is wide open for judgment. The menu prices for foreigners (English menu) are higher than the local version. This jugaad is so sloppy that it puts Indian ingenuity to shame- they left the local menu out for display to lure people ! When inquired about the difference, the greeter told us it's may be because of the taxes, obviously an uncomfortable, albeit white lie. It's a national shame to label this establishment Bombay - and in the process insulting the idea of india at so many levels. The food was mediocre, lacked creativity and the blatant attempt at ripping off tourists left a really bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively.
