Cheap and affordable transportation in Tokyo to reach other cities in Japan.
it is really well organized bus station
The station brings together all the various buses that used to leave from different parts of Shinjuku. It has brought so much convenience to tourists and commuters. The complex also houses the NeWoman Mall and is linked to Takashimaya Times Square and across the road from Lumine 2. It has a comfortable waiting area.
Can be quite tricky to access. Its on the level 4 of the building. You can go through the mall or just take the escalator. You can get the bus to Kawaguchiko or Mt. Fuji 5th station from here. I would recommend to book the bus, specially to Fuji 5th in advance, as the last bus at night and the first to come back in the morning are usually full. If you take these two buses planning to climb Fuji at night you will be ok to reach the summit without any rush. At the station the cashiers were quite helpful despite their english was not great. Also remark the people in the helpdesk in the 3rd floor. They would provide all info you need, super nice people.
Located at L4 just above Shinjuku station. This station has many bus services. I mainly used it to get from Shinjuku to Disneysea and Gotemba outlets back to Shinjuku. There is express bus services to Narita airport too if u need them. Many ticket counters there for u to check and reserve the timing. I’d say if u’re heading to a popular destination with a group of ppl (Disneysea for example), reserve the seats earlier as there are limited time slot and seats are limited.
One can pick up all kind of bus ticket in here. Whether to airport, Disney, Mount fuji, Hokone and etc.
amazing. in very good order. like it so much.
