I was here about 2-3 years ago and back than I had their curry. Today I came for the seasonal pancakes with chestnut cream. The whipped cream was only part of this dish that tasted vegan (strong soy milk taste). But as for the pancakes or the ice cream, if I didn't know it was vegan, I wouldn't be able to guess. The pancakes have amazing texture, not to fluffy, not too hard. Mont blanc paste was tasty. I loved this dish. But it was almost 2,000 yen... The atmosphere and the staff were great too. The place seems to be quite popular. So if you want to come, I would suggest to make a reservation.

Walked into this charming little place with great expectations. Didn't disappoint one bit! Hot alcohol cocktail was the highlight of my visit. Food was delicious too!

I have been to this restaurant three times when I came to Tokyo. The food is good and the atmosphere is warm. However, there is a limited choice for vegetarian who doesn’t take Garic and onion. Most of their vegan food contains garlic and this can’t be removed. Especially, the curry rice is never the choice for vegetarian. If they can have a bit more choice and more flexible. That will be wonderful

It’s has a nice rustic atmosphere but we can’t much about the food. I mean I order brown rice with Demi glazed sauce and salad. So you know, my Japanese girlfriend makes this dish every now and then and the reason why it is so good is because that dish is tasty and very very cheap to make. Usually it is cooked with meat so the vegan version must be even cheaper to make. This vegan dish only needs a few mushrooms, sauce and a spoonful of rice. So you can imagine my complete shock when I saw that it was over 1,000 yen. You can justify that price for the cheapest food in Japan. The taste was basically the exact same as if I made it myself. I cannot day that this restaurant was impressive. I appreciate what you do with vegan food, that’s your selling point. Vegan food is difficult because you need to be careful about the ingredients but please don’t forget that every restaurant has a responsibility to create and to express emotion in its food, not just to copy already established dishes with mediocrity. It is boring and basic but it is the only option for vegans in the area. Too expensive for the menu. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Recommended by a friend, I tried the “everything course”. The food presentation and variety was good, but in regards to quantity, the course left me wanting more. Booking a reservation that started at 18 hs, was surprised to find out that last order was at 20 hs. The looks of the place were rustic and sober, which contrasted with the gleeful image I have of Ain Soph Ripple near Shinjuku. Sitting by the window though, there was a stagnant steak smell from another restaurant in the same building, which for vegetarians was quite off-putting. I overall liked visiting the place, but I wouldn’t go again.
