The food is decent and the drinks are fine. I think our experience was tarnished because of the customer service. The gentleman behind the bar clearly wasn’t happy to see us. Despite being the only customers he had for over 2 hours or more. We spent a lot of money in the place a drank a lot of beers. We were good customers for him but he didn’t wear a smile and made zero effort to communicate with us. We felt unwelcome there. You know Yotsuya is a university town therefore it is international. A little English menu or some welcoming communication goes a long way.

The place is small but they have very close taste to Mexican food, here you will find all kind real Mexican beers and apart of that tequilas really sold in Mexico on the drinks side they are strong if you would like to have a real Mexican drink. For food the tacos and taste is similar to the real ones but with the help of real Mexican salsas like you see in one of the photos the taste get closer to real Mexican food. The staff is friendly but if you go when is crowded you will need to wait long time to get your food, for drinks is a little bit faster. The place itself has a lot of decoration from Mexico very colorful. If you are close to this restaurant and you are alone or with friends why you don’t try to have a drink some snacks and get relaxed with the chill environment that you will get in here. The place have plenty of dishes that you could try. One interesting option is the octopus tacos, I really liked with a little bit of lemon and salsa it was really delicious! The beef tacos as well too, the guacamole is fantastic!
I’m Mexican, and the food tastes really close to authentic Mexican food. Some details in my order were lost in the translation (only Japanese is spoken here) but they have a clear menu. Decoration of the place is lovely and even almost all Spanish words there are correct! Nice salsa music in the background and polite staff. Very good work! I recommend! :)
Disappointing experience. My only 1 star I've ever given in any travel. (Scammer and bad service. Check the reviews where ppl got change stolen by restaurant. **Also note each person MUST buy 1 drink which is not mentioned** - Let me start with my experience: We ordered 1 order of the Mexican Stone Bowl and one order of the Beef taco. Pointed at the stone bowl and we even had the lady waitress CONFIRM VERBALLY HERSELF that this bowl is good for 2 people. We continued with the order of these 2 items. We recieved the beef tacos (Decent 3/5). Waited 45min for the soup/Mexican bowl... After patiently waiting about an hour thinking "How could this take so long??!" We asked what's going on with the soup order we've waited an hour patiently. The ridiculous waitress tried to argue with us that we didnt order it!! (She verbally confirmed with us this order!!! How could she be so daft to screw that up???!) Rule #1 in customer service/hospitality: DO NOT LIE OUT OF YOUR MISTAKE, DO NOT ARGUE WITH A CUSTOMER. Afterwards after the server lying too us.. we ok'd to wait for this soup as she said it will be 10minutes (ended up being 18min but whatever... not even upset about that) We ate the soup and then proceeded to pay. We are classy and didnt even complain or anything after eating the soup. When paying they didnt put any discount or even apologize at all. Like I said we have class and this is the cheapest place we've ate during our 2 weeks in Tokyo... but from a service point you would think they would've done something on the price after lying and giving awful service. Avoid this place theres SO MANY good places in Tokyo to eat!!! (This is not one of them at all). Japanese people have the reputation for best manners and service. (Service here FAILED so hard by any countries standards... what a shame in Tokyo Japan to have such a bad service restaurant) on the same street there are about 15 others places to better eat. McDonalds in China has better service.
The foods are delicious. The tables are little bit small it gets crowded when there's many plates. But overall I love this place.
Nice food, drinks and environment
This used to be a good place. The service here has become appalling. Hour long waits for food and drinks and they forget half your order. Not a hint of apology. Just go somewhere else.
Good for dinner, great for lunch. Burrito lunch set was chock full of meat, plus you get all the salad and soup you can eat, and a drink for 1000. Value!
