Busiest subway station in the universe, I got lost more often that I am willing to admit. Each time was unique experience with flurry of new happy discoveries though. If you are a n00b and get into the station with no professional guide, tell your relatives to send rescue team if they do not hear from you after 24h.

Very busy traffic, you need some time to follow correct line for train or else you might easily get lost here. Overall, the surrounding of this station is really great. Lots of shopping area

Great customer service. I am grateful to the staff/engineers of JR Saikyo line (Shinjuku) in the police area for undoubtedly helping me with my luggage today and gave me careful instructions to get to my destination. In some stations, I feel some discrimination as a foreigner but the team here were very kind to me. I am beyond thankful

The most busiest station in Japan, maybe in the world. You can feel the atmosphere here is very overwhelming. A lot of people moving in this station every second, be sure to read the sign and walk fast, Japanese really do walk very fast, even the elder

Shinjuku is one of the widest or biggest train stations in the world. Therefore, you should be very watchful to the exit of your destination, else you ll be walking around like 10minutes depending how fast you walk. But no worries even if you lost, people here are still very kind to navigate you. Don't hesitate to ask anyone, they will be happy to assist you. Enjoy Shinjuku Tokyo, the sleepless town but due to Covid19, it became calmer and spacious nowadays.
