I can't say anything about the local store - but if you order something from TC Gakki online, the provide the best service i have ever experienced. They make a very fast shipment and send it the day after the day you bought the item. They pack everything up really, really well and safe so it arrives in perfect condition - even if you order as far away as from europe in my case. Thank you for your great service - you do a great job in you online store. Rick from Austria

TC Gakki is one of my favorite music instrument store in Tokyo, where I can I get vintage and rare products and even the normal products in low price compared to any other store. Lately, I bought fender stratocaster from this store.

This place is great. First floor is used and vintage Japanese made guitars. Second new Gibson and Japanese and American Fenders and third acoustics. I told my wife I wanted a Yamaha SG if we “stumbled” upon one while in Japan. She ended up encouraging me to look up shops, and google didn’t disappoint in pointing me towards this place. I had 5 to choose from, (6 if you count the SG 3000 that was 500,000 yen). I played them all on their vintage Marshall amp, they even turned down the music playing in the shop until they realized I’m shy/not that great. I decided on the first guitar I played, a awesome ‘79 SG800 for 65,000 yen, 570 at the time, about 350 less then I’ve been seeing them for in the states. No Japanese tax if you bring your passport.
