Awesome Japanese curry place. Food was excellent. Nice upstairs location. Great service.

It’s located near Bicqlo and MUJI. It’s very tiny curry restaurant on the second floor of the building. One of the most popular restaurant in Shinjuku area. I ordered Mixed curry. The sauce is a bit hot comparing the normal curry sold in supermarket. Atmosphere and taste are great.

Mid-high spicy. Order cheese also if you are not used to spicy food.

Really good tasting curry. Quite unique from typical Japanese Curry you can get at CoCo Ichiban or something; rue has a bolder flavor, beef is in thick chunks. Only 4 choices: beef, tomato, cheese, and mix (all the above shrimp). A bit expensive, only downside. Pic is beef curry (1230) with extra curry (250).
