Don't forget to eat Eki Soba at Shiojiri station when you pass by for transit. You can order noodle even within the railway station. Nozawana (turnip greens) would difinately spice up the noodle!

Shiojiri is the junction station from Nagano to Tokyo and Nagoya. During waiting the connecting train, this shop is convenient to eat noodles at the station.
The best soba i have ever tried. Location is quite tricky (inside convenient store)

電車の待合時間に美味しそうな香りにつられて来店。山賊そばを注文。 立喰そばだけあってサーブも早い。 そして思っていた以上に旨い。 山賊焼きのボリュームは満点。ジューシーで味も良い。 正直価格は決して安くはないが、身体は温まり満足感を得られた。 ご馳走さまでした。
美味しそうな改札横の駅そば。ロータリーに30分無料の駐車場も有ります。 今回は気づかずに1階のお蕎麦屋さんに入りましたが、此方もサービス満点でした。
