Tasty, cheap, functional cafe-style (order and pay before sitting down), as promised by the sign outside this bright basement venue with reclaimed wood-style counters and tables. The ribs are well cooked, and the soup is loaded with garlic and peppercorns, giving it a pleasant, slightly burned flavour. Even better, soup refills are on the house! The black soy sauce is thick and spicy, but the fried bread wasn’t crispy as I’d expected - dip it in the soup or get noodles instead.

Authentic Singaporean food. It's a specialty shop that serve mainly Bak Kut Teh. I appreciate that they have the option for boneless. The broth/soup was flavorful but mild. The atmosphere is chill and low key. Also a nice place for those who want to eat alone. The staff we had spoke English. Prices we're decent and affordable. The building/cafe is pretty cozy and tiny. It's look clean and has simple decor. Overall, food was great and a nice place to get Bak Kut Teh.
Good individual bak kuh teh. Soup is savoury and warm, meat is very soft and the side dishes were good. Offers some variations on the original dish too. Overall a solid experience. Atmosphere is comfortable but a bit utilitary, kind of like a fast food chain.
Really tastey and affordable Bak kuh tei! Broth is pleasantly spicy but not overwhelming and the space is stylish simple and clean. Will definitely go here again. Only thing is I wish they had more dishes, such as a dry noodle dish.
