I arrived early to the airport to find the 3rd floor restaurants don’t open until 930 and 1000. I found this little cafe while I waited for my plane. Food is cooked when you order it. There was a staff member who spoke my language. I got a breakfast set as well as both kinds of tempura fried chicken. The yellow is tori-ten served with a light sauce, the green is made using kobosu. The green was a lovely salty citrusy flavor. It was delicious!

The Kabosu n' Salt Fried Chicken was disappointing, I was served something something that was below warm, obviously not freshly fried, because the skin was not crispy; and all I could taste was salt, with no hint of kabosu. On the other hand, the Kabosu Juice was really refreshing, sour with the right amount of sweetness to balance things out.
旅行の帰りにとり天が今回食べれなかったので購入しようと並んでましたが、忙しいのにスタッフが一人しかおらず、私の順番になったら「おまちください」とふてぶてしく言われ、先に注文している人の商品を出すのに５分放置された。こちらも搭乗手続き等もあり、今から注文して乗り遅れたら元もこもなかったので購入を断念。謝罪もなかった。大分県の方はとても親切な方が多く良い思い出ができたのに、最後のこの女性スタッフのせいで台無しです。
隣に広めのキッズスペース有り。かぼす塩唐揚げとかぼすハイボール。唐揚げ美味しい！
リニューアルして、ショップがモダンになしました。大分特産のかぼすを使ったスペシャルメニューも取り揃えていて、ちょっとおもしろいです。国東と宇佐では有名な金の豚のサンドイッチを取り扱っています。価格は空港値段なので安くはありませんが、観光客の方にはいいのではないかと思います。
たまごかけごはんは美味しかったです。
カボスビール爽やかで美味しかったです！
