Studio No Border is located in Tokyo, Suginami ward, the heart of the Japanese animation industry. It is a unique place, gathering passionate, open-minded and dedicated creators, not afraid by cultural differences. We love mixing influences and always look for meeting with new talents, wherever they come from. We are a development, creation, pre-production and animation company. Our IPs are designed to be declined on various media: animation, games, publishing, board games, toys. The studio is led by Thomas Romain, a French animation creator based in Tokyo since 2003, known for being part of animated sci-fi shows like Code Lyoko, Oban Star-Racers, Macross, Space Dandy. Development of R&D and CGI projects is taken care by Florian Perret, former senior modeler at Dreamworks and Disney feature. Our team have a unique position in the booming field of Japanese animation. We are the pioneers in artistic collaboration with Japanese studios. We know how the system works on both sides. All our staff, if not Japanese, have a deep understanding of Japanese langage and culture. Studio No Border team is small and reactive. But thanks of being part of the well known European entertainment group Ankama, we can count on a strong support to develop large-scale projects with a global impact.
