Whether you like Subway sandwiches or not, there really isn’t much for options when it comes to decent sized sandwiches/subs/heroes/hoagies here in Japan. This Subway sandwich shop located a short walk from the Jiyugaoka station is a small shop with 4 counter seats and 3 tables which seat 2 people each. The staff here, like other Subway shops I’ve been to, are friendly and prompt in putting your sandwich together as you watch. My sandwich of choice is usually the roast chicken sandwich, footlong sub. A half is under 400 yen and may be enough for most people, but I go with the foot-long. Each sandwich is made before your eyes and is customized as you like by selecting the veggies, and condiments. Additional toppings can be had such as bacon, for an extra cost, but you can request for extra veggies for no charge. It’s interesting that large sub-type sandwiches aren’t more available here in Japan, since every time I am at a Subway, there seems to be an endless stream of customers. First time trying subway in Japan. It's double what I remember paying in the us but it was probably the most tasty subway sub I've ever had. I got the avocado chicken. The sauce choices are also different. The bread roll is smaller. If you're visiting, you probably shouldn't eat at subway. If you're a local, this ain't too bad
You get what you have thought a good sub is
Definetly Empty, but the food is decent..
I didn’t have difficulties ordering my meal because they have an attendant who speaks English and the meal was excellent.
Simpel good and fast. Service in english too!
