Pretty awesome place. Great place for a great place. Not much more to say than that. The dude that runs it is baller.

Best place ever! Ryo is the perfect host and makes everything to feel you comfortable. Hope to come back one day.
Lovely backpackers at the outskirts of town, but still only a short distance from the train station. Big beds and good facilities, especially a large kitchen / seating area. Would want a better mattress and pillow though.
An excellent place to stay for a few days to climb Mt. Yotei if you don't mind hostels that is. The host is very friendly and extremely helpful, he even offers to drive you to the mountain and pick you up when you get back whenever you want. I wanted to start early and he drove us there at 4:30! What more can you ask for? Cheap rooms, good service, an awesome view from the lounge and a helpful host that speaks English very well. The beds are a bit hard though, but that's normal for Japanese style beds.
I spent only one night here, and I regret not spending more. The bunk was comfortable, but it was the people and the owner that made this hostel great. Wonderful place that I can't recommend enough.
Perfect place for basing a ski trip in Niseko and the region. Kitchen and nearby supermarket mean you can be independent in terms of cooking your own meals. As other reviews say, the owner is the sweetest guy but also very professional and clearly very passionate about his hostel. He keeps it squeaky clean and running smooth as silk, so don't mess with it! I will be back next season, no question about it.
Hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back! Very nice, clean place. Ryo was the best host and went above and beyond at every turn. Made me feel like family. Highly recommend.
I've stayed there twice. It's a nice, clean place with a good kitchen. It's very much a quiet place where one is expected to act a certain way, and here's the problem: you're always tip-toeing on egg shells there. The owner has harsh signs, all starting with "DO NOT..." do this, that or the other plastered all over the place. The place is a shrine to OCD, even by Japanese standards. It's too tyrannical an environment to ever feel truly relaxed in. The owner is a nice man but he needs to tone it down, I'm not exaggerating, there are notices and maniacal signs everywhere. From not leaving your toothpaste near the sink to not eating snacks in the room. And multiple signs repeating the same things.
