I was searching for classic Japanese flying kite, and found here a very good selection. Starting from 5k to 40 k yen. It is very nice shop.
I visit this shop every year. I started because I use Japanese washi paper and it is very expensive and limited in range in Australia. I now go for a number of other reasons - they have excellent small, paper-based presents and will also wrap your own presents for the cost of the paper. Really traditional goods, excellent service and a real treat just to visit. It is worth seeing for itself.
A treasure trove of old and beautiful Japanese art and figures. It's worth a visit just to look but if you're looking to bring something a little special home then this is the shop to visit.
Amazing place for Traditional Japanese art lovers, there's such a wide range of excellent choices and masterpieces. Right next to the main outer entrance gate of Sensoji Temple, before the market.
