This place is perfect to rent a Kimono! Me and wife had an awesome experienced. Price is reasonable. The Kimono collections are super! Everyone who want to try wearing a Kimono shud go here.
The shop staff were very friendly and spoke enough English. I thought they could be more assertive and try to recommend and advise us when choosing a kimono, obi, purse and hairstyle (since most who go are newbies and have no idea what looks good on them or what is a good match). I also wished they provided make up services along with the hair styling. Overall I had a great experience! There were a lot of kimono styles to choose from, a lot of obiand purses! Btw, Google map had the wrong address so be careful... Try to use the link to Google maps they provided in the confirmation email. It seems they only accept those who have already made a reservation.

This review is for the Kyoto Kimono Rental Wargo at Skytree. I walked in and asked on Monday morning if they could have openings for 2 women and my sister and I were able to rent yukatas and get dressed up. We had our hair done in a premium service and the experience was amazing. You take your valuables and shoes off and place it in a bag that they store for you, return time for our yukata was 7pm but we came back by 5 to get our normal outfits back. The Skytree location is found on the 1F and is very nice and clean. Even though we did not speak Japanese, they were able to help us with some bits of English so we could make our transaction smoother. Total for no online discount and premium hairstyling was 8900 ten. Lots of selections to choose from and we took plenty of pictures to make our visit to Japan a memorable one!
