If you have a ticket, you’ll have an absolutely fantastic three hours. In most cases you will see a play which takes 90 minutes and after 30minutes break, will see a gorgeous amazing dancing and singing show which takes about 60minutes. Not only the play and show but also there are lots of souvenirs and official books and photos you can check. I would say the only problem is no wifi around here. In addition as women’s rest room is quite crowded during the break time, I’d recommend you going there as soon as possible.

This is the best place for takarazuka fans! I watched snow troupe's performance in june but this time I was not able to see flower troupe's performance cause the tickets sold out in the early morning.. so strongly suggest buy the ticket before go to the theater
Good memory of Asumi rio
Wonderful place. Great souvenir shops. Fantastic shows. Highly recommended book ahead
At first, I thought the ticket prices were exorbitant. The show I was going to see was about the French Revolution and I was more interested in Japanese period dramas or plays. Still, because of timing and because tickets are so insanely difficult to get, I decided to go ahead to see a show, and I'm glad I did. I couldn't get first class tickets and had to settle for second class. These were not cheap either. But considering the 3 hour extravaganza with one intermission, the very lavish costumes, the pomp, pageantry, marvellous mechanical sets, the beautiful women and equally beautiful voices, I'd have to say the money was well spent and I wouldn't hesitate to see another show in future. I remember my father saw a show in the Tokyo Theater and he raved about it - that was over 40 years ago. Now, I understand why. If you can make a show and pay for the best seats, go ahead and give yourself a treat. It's light hearted entertainment that will charm and dazzle you.
Not only just a theaters but also contains a lot of takarazuka revue theme stores, fans will defiantly lost themselves here. Really enjoyed every moments here. Would love to come back again soon!
There will definitely be a language barrier for the play itself, especially if it's a play that you have never seen before, but the Revue is a definite must watch. The song and dance performance is such a thing to marvel at in person. Even if you have no experience watching theatre, their brilliance will shine in their performance, and almost feels like they are constantly just saying "are you not entertained?". Second floor side seats were around 4000 yen, but getting a a center or even a first class seat definitely looks insanely worth it, given how extravagant the performance is.
The show is the best I've ever been at (and that is not for lack of competition). Be aware, tickets for a specific month are sold at a set date two months in advance and are sold out within minutes of release.
