A unique experience for those who enjoy outdoor art. The Hakone Museum is fantastic. Lush, wooded, complete, organized and extremely clean. Access for those who are not driving is a little tricky, but nothing that the provision does not win. And the effort is rewarded with beautiful works of art.

The Hakone Open Air Museum was perfect. It's an amazing walking tour of sculptures and beautiful gardens all together. Definitely great in any weather. Very kid friendly. All the kids love the play area for children 5 to 12 years old. Highly recommend a visit if you haven't done so yet.
Definitely check this place out when your around!! Awesome place but you should bring some time if you don't want to hurry up. It took us 3.5 hours to see everything EXCEPT of the main hall. Beautiful place especially when the weather is good. When it's cloudy it's also a good place to go.
We were a bit hesitant at the price but it was well worth it. Great place for our small kids to walk around. The kids loved the coy pond and the kids play area. But the foot bath and observation tower were also really nice stops.
One of the most beautiful open museum I have ever been in, the place is amazing, first of all the building at the entrance is wow then you go outside and walk around with all the art there you can spend 3-4 hours easy. There was a Picasso building with paints of him and other arts, you can even seat and relax with a feet bath in the middle of the park. Great place!
