Nice beer and cider, homemade fries. That's a winning team. Good place to chill after a long day and enjoy some nice songs I nearly forget about after moving to Fukuoka. There is at least one of the staff speaking english (They are hiring some foreigners), so it would be easy to order. The only problem is the location. Even if this is not far from Hakata, their is a 5/10 minutes walk to do before reaching the place. Warmly recommended.

The best Irish Pub in Japan! Excellent service, good choice of beverages, delicious pub food! Don't miss to pop-in, if you are in Fukuoka!
Nice atmosphere, great prices and lovely staff, would visit again for sure
Brilliant atmosphere, great staff and welcoming to a couple of lost Englishmen in Japan.
It's a nice place. Sports on TV, polite staff, yummy nibbles. Appears to have designated smoking and non-smoking areas. The only negative I could nitpick, was that the Guiness was a bit watery, presumably due to local tastes.
They opened early especially for our group on St. Paddy's, and were generously accommodating. Lovely interior - pretty close to what you'd find in Ireland, according to an Irish friend, delicious Guinness, and two very talented musicians even turned up to play for us. Definitely returning.
Friendly staff and cosy environment. A good attempt at an Irish bar in Japan. Unfortunately no British or Irish Cider but a good selection of other drinks.
The Ship has a very friendly bartender (Hiro) with a great atmosphere. The selection of Japanese whiskies (Hibiki, Yamazaki) was fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a very good late night experience with a very knowledgeable bartender. Met a few locals which we’re warmly welcomed by the bartender who helped us translate our conversations as well. Overall a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone.
