The aim of the conference is to discuss and promote economic relations between Germany and Asia. Today, the APK is jointly organized by the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), and the bilateral Chambers of Commerce in the Asia-Pacific region.It is co-chaired by the APA Chairman, Dr. Hubert Lienhard, and the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy. Apart from discussing current economic, social and political issues and future trends, one of the main objectives of the conference is the networking aspect. The APK is the largest networking event for German business in Asia-Pacific.
