The Tokyo Yakatabune Association is a union of 38 yakatabune companies in the Tokyo area. The association was originally formed in 1992 with yakatabune operators based along the Sumida River, and was the first association of its kind to be recognized by the Kanto District Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. 屋形船東京都協同組合は、現在38の屋形船事業者が加盟しています。安全な航行、利用船客へのサービスの向上、事業者の技術の向上をめざし、さまざまな活動を展開しています。 当組合は、平成3年に隅田川沿いの屋形船事業者が集まり結成され、屋形船事業者の組合として、唯一、国土交通省関東運輸局の認可を受けている団体です。
