This place looks like a truck stop or one of Tajima's somewhat underwhelming \Michi no Eki\, but I was very impressed with the meal I had here. I'm not a connoisseur of soba by any means, but the \8 plate soba set\ was filling, delicious, and priced comparably to the rest of Izushi's specialty Soba-ya. I'm also not a connoisseur of tsukemono, but the pickled Shiitake offered as a zenzai were so good that I took two packs home. The place was also clean, and totally empty near lunch time, with excellent service. There are certainly more authentic ways to experience Izushi Soba, but I can recommend this place without hesitation!
