My working place for two years... Nice looking, it even has options for visitors in the kaikan to see Toyota cars and other interesting stuff...
At 191,000km a 2004 RAV4 should NOT cost 4,000 to repair because of the apparently infamous stripped head bolts problem that affects the 2002-2006 2.4L engine!!! Toyota does not accept it's their fault and will not take responsibility for the repairs, or agrees to any resolution! If it's not their fault, whose fault is it then? Whose fault is it that the head bolts are being stripped off of the engine block?! The whole point of buying an economy car so that I don't have to spend money on expensive repairs, not so that I drive a zero-options car for a decade only to end up paying big money fixing an engine below 200k!!! Shame on you “reliable” Toyota! I really thought Toyota was a respected company because of its “reputation”. Hearing good things about Toyota is one thing, but dealing with them is a completely different thing. I am never buying a Toyota again! I’d rather buy a Korean car which costs less and offers more options, if it breaks it breaks. May be I will replace a radiator, not fix an engine block!
Head office factory of the Toyota Motor Corporation in Aichi Perfecture, Nagoya. The closest railway is Mikawa Toyota. This next to Toyota Kaikan Museum. Recommending to visit Toyota Kaiken Museum too if you happen to visit Honsha Plant. All the new car models are exhibited there.
