A fantastic array of the great to superb in Japanese knive manufacture. Really good self guided tour around the various facets of the factory and the shop its self has everything for certainly every budget!
A beautiful experience. There are lots of sharp things on display. Some items have earned the Good Design Award. It's a nice facility that let's you walk in and see parts of the studio. You can purchase items here and there is a discount section. This would make a great souvenir from Sanjo, Niigata. The quality of the Tojiro Pro knife is perfection.
菜切り包丁が欲しくて伺いました。合わせて、工場見学できると聞き、拝見。 包丁のできるまでの工程が目の前で見れました。圧倒です！ 益々ファンになりました。女性の職人さんもカッコ良かったです！ありがとうございました。
TOJIRO OPENFACTORY 藤次郎のオープンファクトリーを初めて訪問しました。大変綺麗な建物で、直営販売店も併設されています。ただ7月12日現在、工場の一部が工事中でした。平日午後遅めでしたが作業している方は非常に少ない感じですべての行程は動いていませんでした。一つ一つの工程は全て手作業でとても丁寧に造られています。若い方も多くベテランの方が付いて指導されていました。直売店にはほぼ全ての種類の包丁とカスタムオーダーの美しい包丁が多数並んでいます。が、価格も素晴らしい。和包丁が多いですが美しいことナイフも並んでいます。お薦めします。
