If you are a tourist in Japan and a car lover, this might be a nice thing to include in your trip. You should look to some special events like the Idlers Club, first, as I did. But usually every Saturday or Sunday there are a lot of classic Japanese race cars, drift, friendly nice guys welcome to talk about their cars. I found many that could speak some English.

Noice place to watch some races. i was there in 2019 it was a great place to watch drifting.
Tsukuba circuit it's a must for all car fans. Had a great time and met some great people who make the experience even better. The circuit is open almost all days with track for cars and bikes. I recommend to get a car drive there early in the morning for bikes and after lunch for cars. If you want to track and experience the track go early and do some paperwork and race of you have a car.
Tsukuba Circuit was a dream come true to visit. Staff was nice and friendly. Rented a GT-R 34 and drove it to the Circuit. There was a great group of guys and girls racing that day.
Beautiful Track to Race! Nice place to enjoy a Weekend watching races!
