As a Southern French, I totally recommend this place. Many products were imported from France/Euskadi/Spain, with the level of quality that we would expect in a restaurant there, products you won't find in your local supermarket in Tsukuba. That's for instance the case of the cheese, or the olives, which are extremely difficult to find in Japan. The selection of wines was also very good (although you need to have a look at the bottles to really know what they are). Regarding the cooking, my main course was a ttoro (presented as \basque bouillabaisse\) which was quite good. The seafood looked fresh and the squid was tender, but the way everything was cooked and arranged was good too. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, making everything they could to help us to chose. It was maybe a bit more expensive than your typical everyday restaurant, but it was worth it. As a down side, it might be a tricky place for picky eaters since the menu is rather small and you don't have much to choose from. PS: note that this restaurant is really tiny, if you're a large group you should probably book.

ランチは4種類あってスペシャルランチを頼みました。前菜が4種盛り合わせ、次は鴨の心臓の串焼き、メインがマッシュポテト、豚ロース炭火焼き、自家製ソーセージ。自家製パンは独特の風味でした。自家製ソーセージがとても美味しいです。店員さんの対応もよくとてもリラックスして食事できました。お気に入りのお店になりました。
美味しかったのですが全体的に塩気が薄く、調理のばらつきが大きいのでは？と思いました。
つくばで一番お気に入りのお店です。いつ行ってもどれを食べても美味しいです。本当にお勧め。素材の味を生かした繊細で美しい味付けです。 初回ならぜひ鴨の心臓の串焼きを食べてください。 一品一品の量はそんなに多くないので人によっては値段が高く感じるかもしれませんが、この味なら相応だと思います。
バスク料理のお店です。ランチセットは、サラダやメインを選べます。ランチ時は混んでいることも。時間に余裕がある時のお薦めです。 人によって好みがあるとは思いますが、美味しい上にシェフの手作り感というかぬくもりを感じる小さなお店です。
