Full disclosure: I'm not Japanese. I would give this place a full ten stars if I could. Every time I've come to Osaka, I've stopped by here (at least a couple of dozen times). A truly great experience, incredibly attentive staff, great food and wonderful ambience. Tip: If you're going with a group (5) book in advance and get a private room. Fantastic place.

Tried tsurutontan first in Tokyo. This place has really great ambience. The tofu is really tasty too. Come earlier as the queue is usually quite long during dinner time.
