This place is great for just about anything you need in media and stationary. On the second floor there are two sections. One is manga, some great stationary, loads of Japanese and American movies and music. The other side is more books. Essentially it's what Barnes and Nobles is in America but with far more options. I recommend just checking it out. It will be worth it.

This is a nice hangout place closer to the Sancha eki if you have a few mins on hand. Movies CD, book store, magazines, including stationary etc can found here. Stop by if you have sometime. But you may end up buying stuff which is what usually happens when I go so I avoid going there :) anyways you may like it.

Years ago we had a mom-and-pop-shop video rental place in Sangenjaya but it's now a pretty cool bicycle shop. While Tsutaya lacks the charm of that old misei, it is fantastic for videos, music and new and used games and game systems. Set up an account and look for the 4 DVD for 1000 yen deal. Just add popcorn for a great evening! Also, don't miss the bookstore just across the way
