UPS Japan ignored my pickup request (4 boxes, 1600USD), UPS J don't share their domestic contractor the the process after the pickup so I had to let UPS do, UPS J erased my onlie acc't, they wrongly billed to a shipper.....EVERY SINGLE THING UPS JAPAN DO WAS WRONG. They complained to me \we are not like UPS in the US\ \We do that only for the businesses we contracted (this is not even true)\ then, started saying at the last \we don't/we did not know...\ I do not understand what is so difficult for them to ship 4 boxes to the US. They acted like 2 years old. It takes more than 2 month to close the business with them. I have never deal with these bad business last 30 years. UPS Japan is unbelievably bad. Is this really the business registered in Japan? Seriously?

Since UPS uses either Sagawa or Yamato to deliver in Japan outside of its own, however limited, area even within metropolitan Tokyo, once your package leaves Narita, the UPS tracking service is no longer useful since the local Yamato/Sagawa tracking number is not available. Sending email to UPS is no help since after 6 hours I received no reply. Yamato answered my email within half and hour. :) UPS provides this info over the phone if you can call during reg. business hours. Otherwise very fast and fairly economical service from mainland US - again - except the unavailable tracking info for the “last leg” of the delivery.
