The Skilas Kiroro lodge is fantastic. Two small super-comfy doubles in each room; en-suite bathrooms; huge living area with dining table, sofa area and TV area; and the all important boot dryers! Its own onsen to be opened soon. Breakfast was fruit and nut-filled porridge, omelette and homemade bread, perfect fuel for Jappow! If you’re lucky you’ll see the resident Tanuki, Japanese raccoon dog. Sadly only saw his tracks. The perfect location for Kiroro ski area and only about an hour from Kokusai and Rusutsu.

Had an amazing time in some great snow with some fantastic people! The lodge was always warm! It has these huge windows so you can watch the snow fall, big comfy couches to relax in after a good day of JAPOW! The morning breakfast always hit the spot! My favorite place we went skiing would have to be Kiroro Resort witch is only about 10 minutes away form the lodge! If you want to enjoy Skiing in Japan then you need to book with Skilas Japan!

Recently stayed at the Skilas Kiroro luxury lodge. What a relaxing space to chill after amazing days in the deep powder. The local resorts are a short drive from the lodge with plenty of options for the guides to choose the best snow conditions on each day. A stay in Sapporo is great fun and the lodge complements the hustle and busy of the city with a chilled moutnain experience. Facilities in the lodge are highend and there is plenty of space in the bedroom and living area. The ski guides (Silas and Neil) were extremely knowlegable about the local resorts and found fresh track after fresh track in the best conditions avalable on the day. Even when we did not have fresh snow, the guides found exciting lines and light powder for us to enjoy. The professionalism on the piste was first class. Highly recommended. Definitely coming back next year. Thank you Skilas :-)
