Looks like an old style European house, but it's an attraction because it's so out of character with the rest of Japan. Free entry. Nice rose garden and view nearby. Near railway station.

申請書を書いて中に入ります。コロナのためか中は撮影禁止でした。二階へも行けないので一回のみの見学になります。バラの時期は庭がきれいに見えるのでしょう。 喫茶と展示側は入口が違うのでご注意ください。

J.H.モーガンの設計により大正15（1926）年にアメリカ人J.E.ラフィン氏の住宅として現在地に建てられた、スパニッシュスタイルの赤瓦と白い壁が美しい西洋館です。入館無料の洋館。12月はクリスマス飾りを展示している。

야마테 서양관의 첫 가옥이었던 야마테 111번관. 매주 둘째주 수요일, 연말 12월29일부터 1월3일까지 휴관. 입장료 무료. 요코하마에 관광을 왔다면 꼭 와봐야하는 명소. 반나절동안 서양관을 둘러보았는데 시간이 매우 부족하였다. 하룻동안 넉넉히 시간 잡고 공원도 거닐며 보고 카페도 갔으면 더 좋을 것 같다. 야마테 111번관 1층엔 꽤 인기있는 카페가 있다. 111번관이 가장 높은 언덕이고 외교관의 집이 제일 아래쪽에 있는 곳이라 111번관을 시작점으로 두는 것이 좋을 것 같다 ㅎ
