Small cafe located on second floor where you can buy a variety of dark and milk chocolates. There's a large window and you can see the chocolatier make the chocolates. They have sweet milk chocolates and also dark varieties. No samples but you can pick two or three and drink with coffee for around 1000Y. Place is air conditioned so it’s a great place for a rest and relax even with kiddos. They have choco covered flavored popcorn as well.

This shopping complex houses our favorite"fish doctor" shop (where you place your feet into a pool and tiny fish gently exfoliate them), so we were surprised to see the fish place had moved from the 2nd to the 3rd floor, and the Yokohama Chocolate Factory had taken its (and other shops') place. YCF is truly a factory, at least in that it produces some of the finished goods (the kitchen area, behind a glass wall, is not huge so it wasn't clear if they do any preparation of the beans or nibs there). There is a small cafe attached, and a shop with single origin chocolates (the Ecuadorian dark chocolate is quite good), flavored chocolates (we saw but did not try the matcha green tea flavor), and chocolate popcorn, which was better than some other shops we'd tried in that it was fresher and richer in chocolate flavor (we had the dark chocolate covered popcorn). The chocolate is expensive, though, in the 780 Yen range for a regular size bar.

チョコレートとはなんぞやを振り返りつつ、ゆっくりできる落ち着いたカフェ。ちょっと高級なチョコレートも購入できます。 本日はカフェ利用。自家製ガトーショコラ（754円）を注文。クリスマスシーズンだったけどデコレーションは通常どおりどおりだった。 ケーキはややしっとりしてる、落ち着いた甘さのガトーショコラ。でも口は渇くし、味を楽しむにもお皿のベリーソースは絶対つけるべし。仄かな酸味で美味しくなります。 お水はセルフサービス。 椅子の座り心地がとても良くて、ひざ掛けもあるし、居心地いい。中華街でちょっとした休憩にいいところでした。 *2018年12月17日 訪問

ここが中華街にある存在意義を見いだせません。時間を潰す目的にも使えません。店舗が狭く、冬場は吹き抜けのせいで寒いです。店員の数が少なく、接客に満足できませんでした。チョコレートの歴史や豆知識が展示されていましたが、内容が浅いので、すぐに飽きてしまいました。 ちぼり湯河原スイーツファクトリー等と比べると、製造風景がつまらなかったです。 写真映えはしそうです。高価なのに量は少ないので買いませんでした。「ここでしか買えないオリジナルチョコレート」は買う価値はないと思います。

横浜チョコレートファクトリー＆ミュージアム 入口にかわいいタピオカがあることを見つけて タピオカ好きとしてはぜひ行きたくて行ってみました。 注文では ミルクティーと注文したのに抹茶が…。。。 作るのにものすごく時間がかかっていたので 抹茶とは言ってないと言うのも面倒でやめました。 味は美味しかったのですがお客さんの注文を間違うのはいかがなものかと。 それよりも作るのにものすごく時間がかかるので 来店される方は気をつけてくださいね。 味は美味しかったのでこちらの評価とさせていただきます。

さて2019年に訪れた横浜中華街だけど、見るところが相変わらずありすぎてご機嫌だねー ということで、入ったのは横浜チョコレートファクトリー＆ミュージアムだ。 何で中華街に横浜チョコレートファクトリー＆ミュージアムが？という問いは別として、素直に展示を見ていたら、やっぱりチョコをいただきたくなった。 で、注文したのは・・・チョコレートドリンクだ。 値段は高めだったけど、味は・・・間違いなし！で美味し！だった。 ということで、中華街観光を続けたのでしたー

タピオカモンスターは美味しいですが、氷が多すぎ！！！もっとチョコレートを味わいたいです。少しガッカリしました。
