Great for picking up the basics. You can buy it conveniently for living alone for a single meal. 150 on 4 peeled onion balls, and cold noodles at 80. Dried goods, sauces from various cuisine like Thai, Italian etc are also cheap. Meat is quite good but sold only in kilos. There are also small amounts of plastic bags and detergents at cheaper price. Worst part is no credit card payment. Only cash.

Gyomu is my all time favorite because of its price and quality. This super shop is not big compared to other outlets. But almost all types and varieties of items are available in reasonable price.

Wide selection of frozen items. Halal chicken meat is available. Its website can be checked for further halal items. This store is smaller than usual Gyomu markets. Good thing is that it stays open till 23:00.
