Fascinating area with two clusters of hill side graves - catacombs from late 6th-7th century A.D. - Kofun period. It is speculated that rich farmers were buried here. Some graves have only a marker or are sealed. Others have windows with automatic light inside, so it is possible to see how they look like, as many of them differ in shape and construction. There are few which are open, so a daring person can venture inside. There is no parking available, except it could be possible to stop in the southern part of the park, close to the dead-end street leading to a stair case by the park toilets.

住宅街に突如現れた古墳群 鬱蒼とした木々や竹林の坂道を登って行くと横穴の古墳群があります。 A群とB群　左右に分かれていて　当時の富豪？な方達のお墓のようで　装飾品などもたくさん発見されたそうです。 数基の穴は塞がれていて　中に入れるのは一つだけでした。他は入口にガラス版が貼られて「中をご覧下さい。」と、書いてありますがガラスが古く　曇ってしまって見れないのが残念でした。 B群に続く竹林の階段は　少しだけ別世界の、入り口のような感じでした。 駐車場は有りませんが近くに有料のが、あります。 全く人影はなく横穴だけに穴場スポットです（笑） 発掘された品はどうやら横浜市立博物館にあるそうなので　機会があれば行って見たいと思います。

横穴式古墳の中に入ることができ直接触れることも出来る貴重なスポット。埋葬物を復元した横穴もありガラス越しに観察することが出来る、さらにガラスにはワイパーまで付いている。公園が整備され、その中に保存されているのでゆっくりと観察することが可能。

とても、数多く並んでいて驚きました。 埋葬品は、別のの博物館にあるそうですか、何度か行っているので見ていました。

神奈川県は横穴墓が多い地域だが、ここは県内を代表する横穴墓群のひとつ 案内板は一部ボロボロだけど、遺跡自体の保存状態はいい感じ 入ることができるものもあるけど...温かい時期は注意しないと、天井にカマドウマがびっしり（この手の遺跡にはよくある）いるので注意

整備されていて回りやすいが、人気が無い為、クモの巣が多い。広場からの展望が良好。
