Very beautiful place! The journey there is a little tedious but it’s worth it. There is also a free shuttle bus that would take you there from the nearest train station. There were small food stalls in there selling yakisoba, Ice shavings and more.

We went here today (2020/08/10) . there is --nothing...no sunflowers...
I visited the place, as Google map guided me towards it...After reaching the location, there was nothing. May be the location tracing was wrong and I have been misguided to wrong location. Totally disappointed.

2020年はコロナ禍のためひまわり祭りは開催せずひまわりも植わっていなかったです。お祭りはなくていいので人が少ない時間にひまわりだけ見たかったのに残念。
7月19日に行って来ました。祭り開催前で そんなに混んでいなくて ゆっくり見る事が出来ました。駐車場は最寄りの公園に！と案内されました。高台から撮影・見学出来るように2箇所に台が設置されていました。トイレも設置されています。 満開で とても綺麗でした！
初めて座間ひまわり祭りに来ました。 7月23日にこれだけ見事に咲いてると思いませんでした。 来月の座間地区が楽しみです。
今年も楽しみです
