It's always unfortunate when I need to do any paperwork but the people who work here try their best to help me in English. I appreciate their effort. Usually, I can get in and out within an hour.

Went to settled three things. 1. 転出届(leaving japan) 2. Return my insurance card 3. Change billing method utility bill It was a rather pleasant experience. Compare to the immigration bureau of japan, my visit for this time were treated by polite staff, not just to me but also for others(as I glance toward others). I would say it’s fair that lot of people facing irritated experience when it comes to such matter, and for my opinion I think it’s because the staff needs to deal with hundreds/thousand of people everyday, and lot of foreigner need to be serve as well, and there’s is definitely some difficulty especially when you are dealing with people with different culture and language. It’s easy for them to get impatience. And throughout this whole day. They were very much patience towards me, even though some mistake were made by them, and I have to hustle a few round because that, but I don’t really blame them. One of the person who serve me is takahashi naoki(not sure his first name). He might not be familiar with the process yet, but he is kind enough. And I give him credit for it. Thanks to Insurance counter: matsumoto san. Takahashi san And the lady at utility counter. My worst experience was when I renewing my ID CARD (在留カード) back in Tokyo (tachikawa). And it was really disturbing. The staff was unbelievably rude towards other foreigner. And I believe many foreigners in japan had similar experience in it. You can read it in one of my first few review. Although I hope thing would be different now, since japan need foreigner more than ever to support its country itself.
本来还担心想办的事情有点多会不会来不及上课，然后我在20分钟内办了三件事……1.搬家过来国民健康保险没有给我减免，每期要收我5040，简单说明来意后柜台的小姐姐问了旁边的前辈怎么操作就和我说这期付5040日元，后面三期只要330日元，这里付就可以，省的再跑出去交。2.开了换驾照要用的带国籍住民票。3.索取了垃圾分类的资料，因为大津的垃圾分类比京都更复杂。就这个公务员办事的效率……不得不羡慕。
時代は大きく変わっているのに、非常に古いお役所。クラスター発生の責任と1000人以上規模在籍しているの本庁職員のリストラ、給与削減は必須でしょうね。 いつまでも縁故採用してたらダメでしょう。 大津市職員は同じ西日本でも西宮市や草津市、愛知県なら長久手市など子育て世代が集まっている所がどんな庁舎やサービス、住宅環境で誘致しているか等もっと勉強して、大津市に住み続けたくなるような街づくりをして下さい。 定時になったらそそくさと帰って、後は知りません、自分と家族さえ安定収入あればというような働き方なのがまるバレですよ。
マイナンバー申請の待受のお兄さんがハキハキとしっかりと答えてくれたはったので高齢者の方や分からない方にはいいなぁーと思った！ただ、結構人が多いから時間は余裕を持って行くべきですね！
対応が早くて親切丁寧でした。
古い建物ですが、行き先をタッチパネルで教えてくれたり、最新の機能が駆使されています。 でも、車イスの人は歩きづらい設計ですね。
