Nice place at Hoppy street. They have english menu and can speak very good english, however is not a tourists focused placed, everybody is welcome there and everybody can enjoy their food. Bad point: one of the dinning rooms was a bit cold.

This place is located on Hoppy-Dori in Asakusa and provides the kind of small restaurant experience you might expect in a deep Japan kind of way. Ironically, this restaurant is located in Asakusa which is loaded with visitors and tourists alike, but in this restaurant you'll find mostly locals eating, drinking, and having great conversation. I had both the monja and yakisoba here and they were both fantastic. As I mentioned, the place is a bit small, so you may end up waiting if you come during peak hours.

Tried monjayaki. Really friendly staff and reasonable prices. Great experience.
Waited for around one hour for a truly great okonomiyaki. They served both the wet kind and the dry version of okonomiyaki and boy do they did great on it. Pleasant experience
