Great pottery shop that is off the beaten path, literally. If you like pottery, shishi, plates and cups then this place is for you. We found it because of the two giant shishi that marks the driveway. Near the road is a shop that has a small sampling of the pottery, and if nobody is there, ring the bell and some one will greet you in a few minutes. It is a family business and it is authentic Okinawan. There must be over 500 items to choose from. The styles and colors are phenomenal. There is something for everyone.

An amazing group of craftsman led by an amazing sensei. Out of all the pottery shops we went to on Okinawa they’re hands down our favorite. If you’re out by Zakimi Jo stop in and take a look. You will not be disappointed. The main shop is at the bottom of the driveway leading down a hill.
If you want to buy a Shisha this is the place. A good group of Craftsman you can walk through their workshop on the lower level (down the ramp). Great value and variety, with some unique designs. Yomiton pottery village is great but this location has the best Shishas hands down.
観光で訪れた近所の公園でここのお宅の中年女性に話しかけられ訪問しました。少し遊んでいきなよ〜と言われて工芸体験した後、じゃ3000円ね、と言われ支払い、後日体験で作成したものは郵送しますと言われたものの届かず。領収書として渡された紙もただのパンフレット。詐欺まがいの行為をされました。
新垣家のシーサーは最高です。シーサー生きてます。土産店で買うより安いし、作っているところを間近に見れます。
